wcfb question

WCFB runs excellent on primaries. Car starts, revs & accelerates as it should on front two barrels, however, when depressing accelerator to the floor opening the secondaries, the engine bogs to the point of almost stalling. What are some of the causes of this condition. The car is a numbers matching 1955 and is believed to be the original carb.

Sounds like a vacuum leak need to check should be 15in or better. Spray starting fluid around base of carb and intake manifold if engine rpm pickups that is where leak is coming from.

Update: Thank you all for your responses. I found the issue and resolved. The secondary jets were badly plugged with sediment. I rebuilt the carburetor and cleaned jets, reinstalled, and engine performs very well. Secondaries open with good power. Again, thanks for all of your help. Ken
