57-58 FI Fuel Filter Bracket finish
My original is salvageable and is superior in fit than the Repro being sold by Lyle Davidson. It also has the 'B' stamped in the correct locations, unlike the repro.
Does anyone know what the original finish on this part is? I can see it is a white finish, but it does not look white enough for white cad. Could it be a white zinc? It is certainly not a bright zinc.
Note for John D. : Aero Kroil is the boss. 3 treatments over a period of 3 months got the original HB bolts out of the original fuel filter housing with zero damage to bolts, bracket and housing after they had been stuck for over 40 years.
