Re: Odometer Replacement 1964
O.K., First I want to thank Joe Ray for the prompt, very reasonably priced, and extremely courteous service regarding the speedometer rebuild. I will gladly recommend him to anyone else in need of this service.
Second, the tach cable has been removed, and a new one lubed per instruction and installed. Easy.
Third, I cannot for the life of me, unscrew the speedo cable at the transmission. I jacked the car on the drivers side front, and I can reach the cable end. But, I cannot get my hand into a position whereby I can unscrew the connector. Is there a trick to this? I have small hands. I expected this to be a no-brainer. What am I missing? Or, is this normal??
