    BB Early Timing Cover Tabs

    I have seen 3 different tabs on the 65-67 timing covers without the dowel pin holes. The short 1.375" tab is on the 396 L78 that goes with the 8" harmonic balancer but I also have a timing cover for the 7" balancer with the short tab. Maybe it is for a 1965 non-Corvette low horsepower car. Another cover has a longer 2.125" tab that is also for the 7' balancer. And the third tab is the more familiar 2.25" tab with an angle cut that is likely for the 66-67 425-435 hp applications. Does anyone know which is which?
