Please take a look at these bolts. they are the same size as a bumper bolt for a mid year. Disregard the plating as the have been plated by someone. Are these actually M bolts that are 67 intake manifold bolts?

I have not seen "M" manifold bolts have the circle indentation like that. But I am not a fastener expert..- Top

The intake manifold bolts were generally a grade 5 plated phosphate.
The bumper bolts were grade 2 without any lines indicating grade strength. In years previous to late 66 bumper bolts were zinc plated. Then they went to phosphate for possibly late 66 and into early 67 and on. These late/early 66/67 cars have been seen with both finishes at opposite ends of the car.- Top

Here are some different font markings for the bumper bolts and for intake bolts. The first picture is of bumper bolts the second picture is of intake bolts you can look close and see every head marking is different. Just a sampling.2016-11-06 16.40.35.jpg
