Almost home after almost 5400 miles and 17 different states driven through, so here are my awards:
Worst roads (condition, crowding, traffic, dangerous situations): Pennsylvania.
Best Roads: Missouri, they also win the award for the only state that has good, even, quiet sectioned concrete roads..
Most State Troopers per mile: Illinois.
Best country roads that make you want to get off the interstate and take them all the way in: New York.
Most crowded and undersized roads that make driving a manual transmission Corvette miserable: Connecticut.
City with the most horrible road condition: Oklahoma City
City with the friendliest and most helpful people: Warwick, Rhode Island, thanks for a great National.
