Keith: Is this the only stamping you have seen on this vintage or any other vintage of Corvette?

Re: 96 C4 convertible hidden "easter egg"
Can't say that I have but I haven't studied parted out car carcasses to much. From what I recall is only C4 convertibles got that. I could not locate that on my 94 coupe but I didn't remove everything.- Top

I believe that C4s also have them in the front door pillars by the hinges? Not near ours to check and verify.Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS

Re: 96 C4 convertible hidden "easter egg"
It was on a number of C4 years, and those of us old enough to remember when they were new remember it from then. It was publicized in the publication distributed to Bowling Green workers. If I had more free time I would look it up.Terry- Top

Re: 96 C4 convertible hidden "easter egg"
I don't think it is restricted to Corvettes only, but I do think it is only found on Chevrolet specific parts. I saw it once before on some interior pieces made of what seemed like press molded fiberglass. I can't remember what model. It's raised, not stamped. Probably made into the mold. I guessed it was probably specific to a parts supplier. Chip.- Top
