Maybe it's covered in the guidelines or FAQs somewhere, but would it be worthwhile to remind folks to be thoughtful and specific while naming their thread?
The thread title is used for searches, and helps the reader scan the Forum's new threads, so titles like "help", "question" or "67" aren't very useful.
And this requires even more awareness, but would it be worthwhile to also remind folks to be thoughtful and specific when composing the first few words in the initial post of their thread? Those words are highlighted when hovering over a thread in the list. So hovering and seeing something like "I've been meaning to post this question for a long time and am finally getting to this..." isn't very useful either.
Helping readers quickly decide if they can contribute to a thread only helps the OP obtain the feedback they're seeking. So this is a win-win practice.
