The clock in the '93 is set to CST - Reset is quite simple, key on, punch buttons. Mine won't reset at all. Any chance that the key was somehow initially for the CST and it has to be changed?

Re: '93 keys - Time zone
I just use the instructions printed in my 1996 owners manual when I want to change the time. I disconnect my 96's battery neg connection whenever I am not going to be using my 96 and always have to set the clock after reconnecting the neg battery cable if I want a display the correct time. Really an easy function to deal with.- Top

There is no automatic set or "born with" time zone setting on these radios. It's strictly a manual operation as far as the time setting goes. You can set the radio to any "time zone" you want; it does not know the difference. If your radio can't be set per the owner's manual instructions, my guess is there's something wrong with the radio. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: '93 keys - Time zone
I agree with the above. I have never had a problem in setting my clock to the appropriate time, especially converting back and forth between day light saving time and regualr time. Never took into consideration what time zone NJ is in, although I wonder myself.PAT, Central New Jersey and Florida Chapters- Top
