Tim, Thanks for the response because I have the pollution control on my car will converting to full time vacuum have adverse effects?

No, as long as you install a B26 VAC (the OE L71 201 15 will not meet the Two-Inch Rule) in conjunction with converting to full time vacuum advance and go through the idle speed/mixture adjustment procedure when the conversion is done and the B26 is installed.

I recommend a target idle speed of 900.

When I did my '66 L-72 about 12-years again, Duke helped me much and Clem talked me through modifying my carb base. I'm posting a picture of the modified base as it should help others with a single 4-barrel carb.

The area circled in RED is the small hole I plugged with epoxy and the GREEN circle is the newly opened up tunnel to have full-time vacuum and the BLUE arrow shows the original vacuum routing.

In addition to the carb-base modification, I changed the VAC and re-did the timing.
