I am trying to decide which pump to go with. Car is an early 58 #1184 but has a replacement pump on it. The fuel lines look original and exit the front of the pump like the #4445 pump. Noland's book states the change to the rear exit 4656 pump occured ~car #1100. I think the car came with the 4445. For judging purposes, would the 4656 be wrong? The 4656 is much cheaper to buy. Are the pressures generated by the pumps the same? Any tips on where to get a good original pump is appreciated.
