1961 FI Ignition shield

Could someone please describe the differences between the 1961 Fuel Injection top ignition shield and the 1962 shield? Noland Adams Vol.1 has a good description, but the rear view picture references the carburetor shields not the FI shield. I believe that shields made after March 1960 have the long front with only a minor difference on the back.
