62 vent hose clip with 5

Per the JGM the vent hose clip in the filler area should have a "5" stamped in it. The one on my car does but it is on the back side! How do I get this judged when the 5 is not showing. Take a picture?

I do have a picture from another car and it has it visible.

Do all correct clips have the 5 showing and I have something else?

Clips of that nature are usually made on a high-speed "Fourslides" machine that does the final forming of a straight blank of strip stock and pierces the bolt holes as the final forming operation. It's possible that the "5" was pre-stamped in the blank, and if the blank got reversed (loaded backwards) on the feed chute to the forming die, the "5" could appear on the wrong side of the finished clip. I'd take a picture of it.

If you compare my part to the original in my pictures you can see the numbers are 90 degrees to each other. I know my vent tube was replaced and misrouted (it got longer) so it is possible I have a repro. In fact the repro I just bought has the 5 on the backside.

Could 62 owners check their clip and let me know if the 5 is visible and oriented perpindicular to the clip?

If so I will see if I can stamp the 5 in the same place.
