i have accumulated 5 ralley wheels of the DC and DG variety that i am preparing to restore. in reviewing these wheels one of them has an oddity that i am wondering about. On the outward part of the wheel, on the first lip from the outer diameter, there are 12 evenly spaced "tags" that go around the full outer diamter of the subject lip. The tag can be seen from the back side of this lip also. These tags sort of look like the remaining tag when you break parts off the plastic in a typical model. Only 1 of the 5 wheels has this ..it is a 15 x 6 JK with 67....is anyone familiar with this tag and/or able to explain its existence.
