I will be at Bloomington this weekend..and I am looking for the 1957 Chevrolet Press Kit that was sent to all the Chevrolet dealers in 1957. I think it is in a green box.
It contains a brochure with the results of the February 1957 NASCAR Daytona Speedweeks along with a Jam Handy slide film that shows the fuel injected Blackwidow Chevies and also shows my 57 Nassau/Daytona Corvette...winning at Daytona.
Chevrolet used this kit to hype the results of their racing results!
If anyone should come across one..please call me on my cell phone..I would greatly appreciate it.
There was a guy at Bloomington last year that had one of these kits..and I lost his contact #.
Finally..Smokey Yunick's son asked me if I could find any pictures of his father working on the 56/57 Corvettes or the Blackwidow Chevie's. Here again any help would be appreciated.
