I am putting the a/c system back on my 1969 L46. I am also adding a restored smog system. The car did not have a smog system when I bought it in 1991. So, here is my problem; as the assembly manual is not clear. The smog bracket that is bolted to the top at the intake manifold and bolted to the water pump I understand. But the A/C bracket seems to have an offset hole that the bolt that goes through the lower smog bracket also goes through. The fuel lines that go to the GF432 fuel filter are in the way of the A/C bracket yet I believe the the fuel lines are in the right spot. Does 1 bolt go through the lower smog bracket and the "offset hole of the A/C bracket and into the water pump???? Thanks!
