Only kidding, Made in Japan. But it was on my 67 when I bought it in 1968:
Finally took it off today in cleaning up the engine compartment. It consists of a mercury switch panel attached to the firewall, and an on-off switch which was attached to one of the driver side fender louvers. It was wire to the horn contact in the steering column. When on, any movement of the car grounds the horn and it blows.
Disconnected it in 1970, so it is hardly used. Found that every time I went to the car wash the little on-off switch would get wet, and the horn would be blowing halfway down the block as I exited the car wash.
Thought I'd put it on ebay and make a bundle Can't throw it in the garbage as it has mercury in it. Guess I'm stuck with it.
How about another accessory, Roy.
