    Early 1970 Carb Lead time

What is a typical carburetor lead time for an early 1970 small block, base engine, Auto, AC car #4102? My current carb is unfortunately incorrect. Many of the dated components on my '70 are within a few weeks or a month of it's Feb 18 build tag date. Should the carburetor have roughly the same lead time? Or were the carbs still being produced while GM was on strike causing a backlog of carbs and a bigger gap between carb date & assembly date for an early 1970?

Also the NCRS judging manual lists a code DH for design #1 with the carb numbers. Should this appear on the carb with the other numbers & dates? Is there some guidance someone can give me as to how to tell if I should have design 1 or 2? Is that simply an early /late issue? If so, where roughly is the changeover vin#?
