Exhaust system for a '57 270hp should be round off road mufflers with crossover pipe right? Can't seem to find it in Judging manual or Nolands book. Thanks.

Round mufflers, no crossover pipe - only solid-lifter fuelies got the crossover pipe. -

Garry, I used a ZIP system and am very pleased with it. It had Corvette Central tags all over it - so most, if not all, systems are probably made by the same outfit. I opted for aluminized - but that decision was based on the fact that I will drive the 56 sparingly. The aluminized will last me 50 years, while the stainless would last 100 years. SteveComment

hi gary. i would reccommend allen exhaust [574 722 7272] for stainless. they just did a big [as in expensive] favor for me at no cost other than one way freight.thats good service. good luck. d.Comment
