My fuel gage works but is not "indexed" correctly. At full tank the gage reads way past F to the 3 o'clock position. At tank near empty, the gage reads at 1/2 tank or the 12 o'clock position.
Is the float arm bent? Sender potentiometer shorted? Any tips to diagnose.
