    Early 69 Door

    I have an early 69 427/435 hp conv. (10171) that currently has a 70-75 passenger side convertible door (I know this from the boss for the bullet receiver). The door does not fit correctly. I am beginning the search for an original 69 door and need some help with identification. It states in the parts interchange manuals that I need GM 3966588u which is the part number for 69-76 RH coupe doors. My understanding is that in 69 there is no difference between coupe and conv. doors. 70-75 coupe doors are supposed to fit my 69 conv. 76-77 coupe or conv. is also supposed to fit my 69. My questions: Which year doors really fit my 69 convertible? How do I identify an original 69 convertible door or equivalent as a shell with just the door skin intact?
