Pop-up when opening a thread

When I click on a thread with new replies to open it, there is a white pop-up (pop-behind?) that appears behind the NCRS window, expands, and then disappears. It then recurs if I go back to the main DB page. If I knew a way to capture it to show you, I would, but trying to do a screen capture is not working. It is consistent and has been happening for quite a while.

Does any Admin know what is doing this? I have it with no other forums or websites.

It happens virtually every time I change a page on this site.
Of note, only seems to happen at home when on Firefox. It does not happen with Chrome.

I see this on the TDB occasionally (via Firefox). Since I have some popup blockers... I simply guessed they were just doing their job.

I am using Firefox at home and don't see this, and I too have pop-up blockers installed.. At work we use IE and no sign of this either.

It may be do to the combination of Firefox with a particular pop up blocker. You might try turning off the pop up blocker to see if that stops if from happening. You can then see if you can find a different pop up blocker to use.
